Custom Comfort’s QMID: X1Z9

What is a QMID?

The IRS will be requiring a QMID number on Form 5695 in order to receive tax credits when filing 2025 taxes. As a manufacturer, Custom Comfort has been assigned a unique QMID that will be used if a 25C eligible system is installed.

The above code (X1Z9) is to be used on any Custom Comfort equipment that meets 25C designation requirements.
